The Eldo is most popular brewery, pub & restaurant in Crested Butte. Located in the heart of the Historic Downtown District, Elk Avenue Brewing Company. a.k.a. The Eldo, offers homemade brews, live music and Crested Butte’s favorite pub food menu. As a legendary landmark, “The Sunny Place for Shady People” this is the “go-to” stop for locals, tourists and families. It’s the only bar-eatery that offers a second floor outdoor patio. They have a fun casual atmosphere plus great views of classic storefronts and beautiful mountains.
The Eldo has received lots of recognition and awards: listed in Alaska’s In-Flight magazine as “The Eldo, a must see bar in Crested Butte” ; its own brew 20won “Best Lager 2015” at CB Beer and Chili Fest where brews from around the states competed; featured in Powder Magazine, Menu Magazine, and more. They also host and participate in many local events.
The brewery just celebrated its 20th anniversary and is fully equipped with a 7-barrel brewing system, 10 taps and a nitro tap available. The place to enjoy live music (local and renown non-local artists and groups), dancing, pool tables, foosball tables, darts and more.
Unfortunately our building does not have handicap accessibility, we really wish it did. However, we are happy to park wheelchairs downstairs and carry up any and all guests.
